TOP TIPS

1. Bring as much Thai Baht with you for when you arrive but if you need to use an ATM use the Yellow Krungsri ATMs they are always at 7/11. It will charge you 220baht ($6 / £5 ) as a fee. Always choose the option where you don't convert the exchange rate (you will get a better rate by your bank provider)

2. Use INDRIVE App for Taxis - It is the cheapest by far. Much cheaper than Grab and Bolt.
3. ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding on a mopbed / bike. The driving is crazy.
4. Download the 7/11 app for food & drink delivery, they will heat the food up for you.
5. Wear light clothes that cover your whole body. (you can buy cheap out here). It is brain boiling hot. Wear sunscreen on the areas exposed to the sun. Drink lots of water. Pace yourself.

It is better to be prepared and have as much information as possible so you don't end up having bad surprises.
